No Life in Waters

Two more steps in, I got to die,
But a baby's cry stopped my weak limbs
Falling into those waters of illusion
I should have died and laid there
Orphaned of voice and sight
Still but with life and no sign
The waters of illusions were what I am trained
To swim with bunch of books and pens
Reading what I write and writing what I read
Nothing but this what should have made me busy
Lying alone on the bed of the waters dead but still
With life and dreams and what not
Two more steps in, I got to die
A baby in me cried loud to stop me
Sinking and asking me to think
'Dip in your sweat but not these illusive seas
That your sweat is saltier than any sea
And can be bigger than anything
Then when you sink in your own sweat
I shall come out of you and grow big'
The baby said so.
So did I tried to sweat as much as to sink me in
And it did so and I died, then the baby did born
With a face of god and smile so beautiful.
